What started as a joke between my students and me, “Drumville” began many years ago when I started to tell my students, “It’s time to go to Drumville!” After teaching drums to students of all age primarily in the South Bay, Torrance and Long Beach area for over 30 years I decided to open “Drumville Studios.” I am proud to team up with two incredible professional drummers, my sons, Cale Giachello and Jody Giachello.  We are all professional working musicians with the experience to teach you what you need to know to play in a band.

We understand and know that there are students, parents, school and church musical directors looking for an experienced, dedicated drum teacher. Someone who can take themselves or their students from any starting point and equip them to be efficient in any musical modality including school jazz band, marching, orchestra, rock band, church ensemble or just fulfilling a lifetime desire to play the drums.

 

Drumville Studios promises to train you or your student in all the fundamentals proficiently and correctly from the beginning to a lifetime of musical ability. With our combined experience of expertise in teaching drums for over 40 years, teaching hundreds of students of all ages to achieve their musical dreams of playing the drums, and by offering an expert in drum instruction in proper techniques you will accomplish your goals correctly. We understand the importance of finding a teacher that teaches the fundamentals of playing properly combined with the ability to play the type of music that you want to play. I know what it takes to train a child at an early age to play the drums from beginner to advanced. I have done this with my sons, Cale and Jody. They were both one and a half years old when they first held sticks and were playing a drum set at age 3. I have worked with students of all ages, from 3 to 80.

Drumville Studios is known for its highly successful “Student Rock Project”. All students will have an opportunity to participate in this fun event where students can perform with professional musicians and other students on stage. This is a great opportunity for students to get a feel of playing in the real world and show off their accomplishments to family and friends.
